Sorry I havent posted in a while, although I do have a valid excuse... My trusty camera has been missing for the last couple of weeks and what good would my witty words of wisdom be without some pictures alongside? Useless thats what! So through a last minute power hunt I managed to find it hiding out in the back of the car... Unfortunately the battery is dead so you'll just have to imagine pictures of rows of fresh flies hot off the vice and a ridiculous amount of fishing gear! It's all systems go right here at the fly cave before I catch a flight to Tuscany in the (very early) morning. It's shaping up to be a good trip and the rumours of absolute beashts in the Tevere is only making it sweeter. I plan to take a fairly decent amount of pictures and theres also a pretty shweet video in the pipeline and if theres a wifi connection in the hotel then I'll try and throw a few updates up as I go along. When I get back I have a bunch of stuff to review, like a sexy new stealth black scoop net that arrived yesterday, and a fly line along with some other shit. The flies of the trip will also be named and famed, and you dont want to miss that do you? Didn't think so....
Check out the video above for some fish candy, just do it... It's shot in Italy somewhere, the fishing is quite similar to what we will be encountering over there with regard to river, conditions, etc... It's certainly got me wet, good thing I'm wearing waders.. Temperatures set to be in mid to high 30's, humidity 40-50%, lovely shtuff! Wish the team luck, and hopefully we will bring back a few golden biscuits!
